About John M. Miller, Esq.
John Miller’s experience in real estate, real estate law and the wine industry gives clients a distinct advantage in Wine-country residential and commercial transactions. John brings a valuable perspective to today’s evolving market. He understands the particular qualities of the North Bay/Wine Country region and how to not only best serve individual clients, but also the community.
John received a BA in Classics from the University of Maryland, an MA from St. Johns College, and a JD in Real Estate Law from the University of Minnesota Law School. He has represented a major city’s real estate transaction litigation and worked as a private attorney representing commercial and residential properties.
John moved to wine country during a hiatus in the wine business. After fifteen years in the wine business, John has returned to the business of real estate.
He currently lives in Napa with his wife Kimberly and daughter Phoebe. He considers the North Bay his true home. “Since settling here 12 years ago,” John says, “I have gained such an appreciation for the towns and the people that make up this unique region. Every town has its own flavor, but they all share a common quality of life, openness and light.”
John’s goal is to see this transaction the way you see it—as the most important business in the world.
My Client-First Philosophy
There are many qualities and skills that go into being an excellent real estate professional - integrity, in-depth community and market knowledge, marketing savvy, effective negotiation skills and a high-quality professional network, all of which are hallmarks of how I work.
That said, in my experience as a Napa real estate professional, I've also found that providing the very best service is essentially about putting my clients first. This means keeping myself accessible, being a good listener as well as a good communicator, and responding quickly to your needs.
This "client first" philosophy has always been my approach and it requires me to continually improve my skills and ways of doing business. In addition, I've found that the latest technologies are enabling me to do everything I've always done, only much more quickly and efficiently. They've also helped me to extend the range of services I provide to my clients.
So when you decide that you'd like to buy or sell a home in the North Bay areas, please contact me.
